The unit is super quiet..on low speed cannot hear it at all. Had it installed in my bedroom suite with the AC unit outside on cement bricks.. Wanted a second AC so it would not be necessary to cool the whole house for just one room...also would be more economical instead of firing up a 5 ton unit. Easy instillation. had it up and running in less than 20 min. Low energy use looks to be good. Cools room quickly. Noise level is less than the fan we had running before.
