The unit is super quiet..on low speed cannot hear it at all. Had it installed in my bedroom suite with the AC unit outside on cement bricks.. Wanted a second AC so it would not be necessary to cool the whole house for just one room...also would be more economical instead of firing up a 5 ton unit.
